HOYO DEL PINTOR VINEYARD
VARIETIES: 95% Tempranillo and 5% Viura.
OUTPUT: Tempranillo and Viura 4,500 Kg/Ha. Low variability.
SURFACE AREA: 2.8 Hectares.
LOCATION: Between the towns of Elciego and Lapuebla de Labarca.
ALTITUDE: Average altitude of 480 metres (from 460 to 490 m).
ASPECT: Varied aspect. Each field in the Hoyo del Pintor has a different aspect and exposure.
FEATURES: Divided into 8 vineyards with different features (slope, plantation framework, aspect …).
YEAR PLANTED: 1930 – 1985.
CLIMATE: Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influences. Well-protected from strong winds. Slightly higher than average temperatures due to the relief of the terrain. Microclimate that encourages earlier ripening in normal conditions.
WINEGROWING SOIL: Very varied soil with a predominantly loamy texture, moderate amounts of calcareous rocks on the surface. Poor, shallow soils, ideal for balanced, contained vines.




Very high-quality vines, structure, warm sensation, complexity and very long-lasting in the mouth.
