ORGANIC VINEYARDS.
VARIETIES: 100% Tempranillo.
OUTPUT: 5,500 Kg/Ha. Low variability.
SURFACE AREA: 4.5 Hectares.
LOCATION: To the southeast of Laguardia, between the Carralogroño, Carravalseca and Musco Lagoons.
ALTITUDE: 570 metres.
ASPECT: N-S 60% and E-W 40%.
FEATURES: Distributed in 3 separate vineyards, one of which is organically farmed. Mainly goblet-trained, medium-high plantation density with gentle slopes with good exposure to the sunlight.
YEAR PLANTED: 1985.
CLIMATE: Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influences. Strongly influenced by the mesoclimate in the Laguardia lagoons area. High relative humidity, dominant relatively mild winds.
WINEGROWING SOIL: Very uniform soil in all three vineyards, with a dominant loamy texture, with no rocks or pebbles on the surface. Deep soils with a good nutritional balance suitable for balanced vines with average vigour and high capacity to retain the water available for the vines.




Wine that shows all the character of the high part of Rioja Alavesa.
Very pronounced fruitiness, acidity is present without being dominant, medium-full structure.
Curious “salty” touch at the end of the mouth.
