VARIETIES:<\/b> Tempranillo 75% and Garnacha Tinta 25%.<\/p>\n

OUTPUT:<\/b> 2,500 Kg\/Ha.<\/p>\n

SURFACE AREA:<\/b> 2.7 Hectares.<\/p>\n

LOCATION:<\/b> To the south of Elciego, on the banks of the river Ebro in La Rioja.<\/p>\n

ALTITUDE:<\/b> 400 metres.<\/p>\n

ASPECT:<\/b> NE-SW.<\/p>\n

FEATURES:<\/b> Old vines pruned into a goblet shape, with a high percentage of missing vines and a very irregular planting pattern. A single, very uniform vineyard that is completely flat and has sufficient exposure to the light.<\/p>\n

YEAR PLANTED:<\/b> 1944.<\/p>\n\t

CLIMATE:<\/b> Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influences. Strongly influenced by the mesoclimate created by its proximity to the river Ebro. Very high relative humidity, heavy dews in the early morning and a high apparent temperature given the low levels of aeration.<\/p>\n

WINEGROWING SOIL:<\/b> With a very pronounced sandy texture. Deep soil with an average nutritional content and a high capacity for water infiltration although not for retention. The age of the vines means that they have a deep root system. Some vines that predate the phylloxera blight still survive thanks to the sandy nature of the soil.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\"\"\/\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
