The vineyards of Rioja Alavesa are situated in small terraced fields on the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria. Very poor, white limestone soils that are ideal for the vines, which produce unique, complex, elegant wines. One of the “golden miles” of Tempranillo grapes.


The vineyards are in the valleys and foothills of the mountains, so ensuring enormous diversity in the wines. Alluvial and stony soils, with a Mediterranean influence that results in more mature, well-structured wines.
